Not a good experience 😔 very disappointing. I ordered a simple veggie, "uncanny tomato pie" here... 2 pictures posted below - one is what I ordered, the other is what I got for it. It's like they didn't even put any effort in making it. 🤬The pizza I got has no greens on it... And instead, has extreme levels of garlic dripping off of it.. I don't even feel like taking more than a few bites. When I go to their website everything looks so appetizing. I feel like that's why the disappointment is so extreme.. they set such high expectations and then gave me garbage. Enough said!
this is based off a BEC sammy I had there: bacon was crispy and egg was so fresh - tasted homemade, something I want in a morning meal. service was nice too- you can tell a lot of regulars come here. this lil hidden gem tucked into the corner of a random midtown building is not to be missed. watch out for the hot sauce - that is a fiery wake up call that I loved (might be too hot for most though.)
This was my first time to NYC and this was my first pizza stop. By far the best gluten-free pizza! The service was also great!
The service was amazing. The space invites an almost intimate setting, like eating breakfast in the back of a grandma’s kitchen. The food was excellent, and the server Claudia took great care of all the customers, making us feel welcomed and full.
I am a total foodie and honestly pretty high maintenance. Loved this food!!! The people there were also lovely. The pepperoni pinwheel was unique and a treat.!
I crave their pizza. I'm a native New Yorker who loves her pizza. This is by far my favorite slice. When in the neighborhood I can't help but come by and get a slice...then a second. The salads, homemade pastas, soups, gluten-free pizza and other entrees are also really good, but when here I can't seem to pass up the pizza. The staff regulars are lovely, especially Ashely. I also appreciate that they provide complimentary infused Alkaline water. Plus Pizza by Certé is a Certified 3-Star Green Restaurant. Come and support this wonderful local gem!
I had this place deliver to my office so I don't have an opinion on the atmosphere. However, I do have thoughts on the food. I ordered the chicken parm over pasta with a side of escarole. I thought the portions are a positive surprise. It was a lot of food for the price. Unfortunately, the portions are the best part of the meal. The escarole was too bitter and wasn't garlicky enough for me. The chicken was good but the sauce was way too sweet it kind of overpowered everything else. Either way I liked it enough to give it 4 stars and would probably give them another shot. Also side note they give you a choice to receive your food in a reusable microwavable dish or a biodegradable dish, which is nice.
Can not say enough about this place! I ordered pickup a few times here.(Yummy!) Once they forgot my biscotti and i complained on the ordering app. To my surprise the next time I visited, the store owner remembered me and apologized and offered me extra to make up. What can be better than a warm delicious yet cheap pizza? Always feeling valued as a customer!
Here start my review. They have amazing pizza crusts. The original is chewing and the whole wheat is thinner and a little crisper. Their toppings are creative and generous. I recommend Uncanny, buffalo, cauliflower, Bianco and i know it is a struggle to decide. Their pizza-of-the-month always blows my mind. The Stromboli and desserts are tasty too.
They have nice staff and offer a few inside seatings. Pickup and takeaway order is fast. It is now my favorite pizza spot in NYC.
